Suspension & Tension Clamps

Description

1. Suspension clamp is used for hang or support the conductor to the high voltage insulator suspension string.
2. Normally suspension clamp mainly bear vertical load, and not bear the tension strength of the conductor.
3. Usually suspension clamp is used together with electrical link fitting for power transmission line and connect the conductor and insulator to the cross arm of the tower.
4. Bolts type clamp,which bears the full tension of the wire or lightning conductor.But not as a conductor.This kind of detachable clamps can be removed after the conductors are installed and used separately.
5. Dead-end clamp, which bears the full tension of the wire or lightning conductor and also as a conductor.So this type of clamp once installed, can not be removed, also known as dead-end clamp.
